Developing a highly skilled workforce, adopting innovative technologies and strengthening the connection between education and industry are among the key drivers of a competitive economy. In this context, the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) offers free access to the international Digital Twin educational programme, designed to prepare professionals for the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0.

The "Digital Twins for Smart Manufacturing" project, funded under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, aims to bridge the gap between education and the evolving needs of modern industry by providing advanced training in digital twin technologies, automation, virtual environments and smart manufacturing.

The programme delivers more than 450 hours of learning content, structured into 10 specialised training modules, complemented by 25 micro-credentials, virtual laboratories, an online learning platform, a mobile application and a self-assessment tool for evaluating acquired competencies.

It is designed for a broad audience, including students, vocational learners, educators, professionals seeking to upgrade their skills, job seekers and business representatives interested in implementing digital transformation and smart manufacturing solutions within their organisations.

The curriculum covers a wide range of Industry 4.0 topics, including:

3. Virtual Maintenance
4. Business Intelligence
5. Virtual and Augmented Reality
6. Industrial Cybersecurity
7. Cloud Technologies
8. Green Transition

The programme has been developed through the collaboration of the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse, Siemens Bulgaria, SOLTECH, and a consortium of European partners, ensuring both academic excellence and strong practical relevance.

Initiatives such as Digital Twin play an important role in strengthening regional innovation capacity and preparing the workforce for the digital economy. By supporting the development of advanced digital skills, they contribute to increased business competitiveness, technological transformation and sustainable economic growth.
